Obituary of Joseph A. Mazze

Middlesex, NJ Joseph A. Mazze, 86, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Abingdon Care Center in Green Brook. Born in Brooklyn, NY to his late parents Guiseppe and Gaetanina (Ciambra) Mazze, he has been a resident of Middlesex since 1960.In 1949, he was honorably discharged from the United States Navy after faithfully serving his country during WWII. Joseph retired as a Terminal Manager with All Container Service in Port Newark. Joseph had a love for fishing, music and he enjoyed cooking. He could always be found spending time with his cherished family and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex.He was predeceased by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Rosaria "Sara" Mazze who passed away suddenly on January 6, 2015 and his three siblings; Frank Marszal, Josephine Venuto and Paul Mazze.Joseph leaves behind his devoted children; Laura Kloptosky and her husband Robert of Middlesex, Eileen Britman of Monroe Township and Joseph Mazze and his wife Christine of Middlesex. He will be missed dearly by his seven cherished grandchildren; Jonathan Kloptosky and his wife Abbie, Jennifer Snyder and her husband Richard, Jason, Justin and Jeffrey Mercer and Michael and Kimberly Mazze, six adored great-grandchildren; Alexa, Brielle, Megan and Jack Kloptosky and Roman and Rhys Snyder.Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. On Saturday, March 21, 2015, family and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex for a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial. Joseph will be laid to rest beside his wife in the family plot of Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
