Obituary of Eleanor G. Procacci

Middlesex, NJ Eleanor G. Procacci, 85, loving sister, daughter, aunt and godmother, passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Born in Jessup, PA to her late parents Frederick and Mary (Cardoni) Procacci, she lived in Plainfield, was a graduate of Plainfield High School in 1945 and has been a resident of Middlesex since 1970. In 1989, Eleanor retired from NJ Bell after forty-four years of employment as a Senior Central Office Clerk. She belonged to Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish and was a member of the ATandT Pioneers, Catholic Daughters, Middlesex and South Bound Brook Seniors and American Legion, Post 306 in Middlesex. From 1976 until 2009, Eleanor loved spending time singing for the Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish Choir.She is predeceased by her two dear brothers; Dom Procacci and Joe Procacci, Sr.Eleanor leaves behind her niece Donna Pierson, nephews Darren, D.J. and Joey Procacci, great- nieces Mariah Ford and Gina Procacci and great-nephews George Stone and Cory, Kyle and Collin Pierson.Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 8:15 am until 8:45 am.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 27, 2014 beginning 8:45 am followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Burial will take place in the family plot at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
