Obituary of Concetta J. "Connie" Sisco

Concetta "Connie" Sisco, nee Caporaso, 96, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016 at Foot Hill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough. Born and raised in Summit to the late Angelo and Margaret Panella, she has resided in Piscataway since 1948. Connie worked in the Meat Department at Pathmark in South Plainfield for 27 years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Piscataway and a member of the Tri-County Seniors. Connie enjoyed line dancing, bowling, and the quality time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Sisco in 2013. Surviving are her loving children, Virginia Gail Cerciello and husband Sam of Madison and John F. Sisco and wife Mary Ann of Somerset, her cherished 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 5:30pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until the service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Connie's memory to the American Cancer Society.
