Obituary of Anne E. Rustic

Middlesex, NJ Anne E. (Esock) Rustic, 92, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 7, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Manville, NJ to her late parents John and Mary (Wass) Esock, resided in East Millstone until moving to Middlesex in 1950.Anne was a devout Catholic who belonged to Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish and was a member of their Altar Rosary Society. In her earlier years, she worked at Johns Manville and then in the cafeteria for the Middlesex School District. Anne enjoyed traveling with her husband, dancing, playing cards with her Manville Card Club, and trips to Atlantic City. She loved to cook but most of all; she cherished her time spent with her family.Besides her parents, Anne is predeceased by her husband, of 50 years, Joseph who died March 15, 1996, son-in-law John Kropewnicki in 2012 and by her six siblings.Anne leaves behind her two loving daughters; Laura Thomasey and her husband Rich of Middlesex and Linda Kropewnicki of Hillsborough. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Zujkowski and her husband Pat of Manville, five cherished grandchildren; Jill and husband Brad, Edward, Bryan and wife Jill, Kevin and wife Kelly, Doug and wife Ashley; and by five great-grandchildren, Garrett, Griffith, Julia, Brooke, and Waverly.Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 beginning 8:45 am in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Anne will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne Rustic's name may be made to the Middlesex Borough Rescue.
