Middlesex, NJ - Evelyn M. (Green) Welsh, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Abingdon Care Center in Green Brook. Born in Tomhicken, PA to the late Stephen and Cora (Van Blargen) Green, Evelyn settled in Middlesex sixty-six years ago.
In the mid 1980's, Evelyn retired from the Middlesex School District where she worked in the cafeteria. She enjoyed embroidery but her favorite past time was camping. She loved to go camping with her family.
Predeceased by her husband Guy Welsh, brother Harry Green and grandson Richard Montanye, she leaves behind her daughter Sharon Welsh of Middlesex and son Sylvester Welsh of Florida. She will be missed by her sister Letha Welch of West Hazleton, PA, grandchildren; Charles Montanye of Brick and Michael Montanye and wife Amy of PA, great-grandchildren; Richard C. and Aimee C. Montanye, Courtney, Samantha and Sandy Pappas and two great-great grandchildren; Jordan and Jaxson Barraud.
At the request of the family, all services for Evelyn have been made private.
