Obituary of Linda J. Burnett

Edison, NJ - Linda J. Burnett, 54, passed away suddenly at her cabin in Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Born in Elizabeth, Linda grew up in Piscataway and settled to Edison. She was a Sales Manager for ADM Corporation in Middlesex and formerly worked for Maidenform in Edison and Bayonne. Linda embraced life, her laugh was contagious, she would light up any room or gathering with her smile and fun spirit. She enjoyed painting, watching the Walking Dead, playing tennis and loved trips to the beach. Linda was overjoyed and proud to announce the impending birth of her grandson Blake. Predeceased by her mother Edna Marie (Hendricks) Burnett, Linda leaves behind her loving son Anthony Velardi and his girlfriend Melissa Feinthel of Edison, her companion of twenty plus years Michael Catena also of Edison, father William Lee Burnett of Jackson, sister Susan Swithers of Somerset and many extended family and friends; including Stephanie, Kathy and Helen Hendricks. She will be missed dearly by her animals; Sweet Pea, Deuces, Chelsea, Buddy and her grand-dog Diesel. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm with a memorial beginning 8:30 pm at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
