Albert F. "Chuck" Marrapodi, 86, passed away September 17, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Marrapodi was a lifelong resident of Piscataway. He proudly served an enlistment in the United States Army during peacetime and was an active Possumtown Volunteer Fireman for more than 60 years. Chuck was also a retired Electrician from Fisher Scientific in Bridgewater. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary who passed away in 1990. Surviving are his daughter Patricia Marrapodi of Manville; his brothers William Marrapodi and Robert Marrapodi; his nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Visitation hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854. Funeral services will begin Saturday 10:00 am at the funeral home with a final tribute of farewell followed by a graveside service at the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
