Middlesex, NJ Felice D'Alessandro, 80, entered into eternal life on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born August 28, 1933 in Torella Del Sannio, Italy, Felice married in 1956 before serving in the Army Services in Europe and came to America in 1958 to join his wife. He has been a resident of Middlesex since moving to America and retired in 1991 from General Motors in Linden where he was employed for many years as an inspector and driver. He enjoyed working with his hands and was an excellent handy man. He loved the outdoors, gardening, nature and throughout his life, he had many loving pets. Felice was a people person where he enjoyed being around people and enjoyed music and dancing. Felice was predeceased by his father Dominick Antonio and mother Emilia D'Alessandro. He came from a large family with five other siblings and still has a brother and sister living in Canada as well as a sister in Argentina.A loving husband and father, Felice is survived by his wife Angelina D'Alessandro of Middlesex and two daughters; Rita D'Alessandro also of Middlesex and Anna Gardiner of North Carolina. He was loved by all who met him and always had a sunny smile.Visitation will take place in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 9:15 am until 9:45 am.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 beginning 10:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
