Middlesex, NJ Catherine D. (Denier) Nodes, 86, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in Brooklyn, NY to her late parents Peter F. and Mary E. (Rickenhauser) Denier, she lived in Union until settling to Middlesex in 1957.Catherine spent her time as a homemaker caring for her loving family. A communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish, she also belonged to their Altar Rosary Society. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Herbert N. Nodes who died in 1983.Catherine is survived by her loving and devoted family; sons Robert (Grace) of Bridgewater, Richard (Joni) of Lebanon and Michael (Adrienne) Nodes of Middlesex, daughters; Ruth Ann Lincoln-Peck (Vernon) of Edison and Pamela O'Farrell (Tom) of Califon; sister Dorothy Rolser (Bill) of Barefoot Bay, FL, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2-6 pm and on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 10:15 am until 10:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 am on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex. Catherine will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot of Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
