Obituary of Elaine DiNizio

Green Brook, NJ - Elaine (Monsorno) DiNizio, 80, passed away suddenly on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hazleton, PA to her late parents Joseph and Helen (Chisowski) Monsorno, Elaine was raised in Elizabeth and lived in Linden until moving to South Plainfield and Middlesex where she and her former husband, Louis A. Cerillo, Sr. lived with their three children. In 1978, Elaine met and later married Nicolas A. DiNizio and they lived in North Plainfield to raise their family. She finally settled to Green Brook fourteen years ago. Elaine spent most of her time as a homemaker caring for her family but for ten years, she loved spending time at the Giving Nest in North Plainfield where she cared for children during the 7am-9am drop off time. Elaine liked to knit and crochet and was known to cook and entertain. She will be missed by her family, especially her four grandsons who meant the world to her. Predeceased by her husband Nicholas A. Dinizio in 2011, daughter Georgianna Quacquarini in 2004 and brother Thomas Monsorno in 2007, Elaine leaves behind her loving and devoted family; daughter Sandy Rizzolo and husband James, Jr. of Green Brook, son Louis A. Cerillo, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Lavallette, grandsons; Ronnie Quacquarini and wife Katie, Jimmy Rizzolo, III and girlfriend Jenna O'Sullivan, Nicky Quacquarini and girlfriend Karla Gary and Anthony Rizzolo and girlfriend Juliette Minahan and by Elaine's sister, Carol Ann Jarabek and husband Ronald of Mountainside. Visitation will be held in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 9:00 am until a 12:00 pm religious service. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
