Obituary of Rosaria "Sara" Mazze

Middlesex, NJ Rosaria (Lanzarone) Mazze, 85, known to many as Sara, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Brooklyn, NY to her late parents Caesar and Philomena (Isabella) Lanzarone, she moved to Middlesex in 1960.After many dedicated years as a secretary to the Watchung School in Middlesex, Sara retired in 1996. A communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish in Middlesex, she also belonged to the Red Hat Society.In years past, she loved to travel, especially to Florida and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Sara's number one priority in life was spending time and sharing memories with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Sara leaves behind her loving husband of sixty-five years Joseph A. Mazze and her devoted children; Laura Kloptosky and her husband Robert of Middlesex, Eileen Britman of Monroe Township and Joseph Mazze and his wife Christine of Middlesex. She will be missed dearly by her seven cherished grandchildren; Jonathan Kloptosky and his wife Abbie, Jennifer Snyder and her husband Richard, Jason, Justin and Jeffrey Mercer and Michael and Kimberly Mazze and six adored great-grandchildren; Alexa, Brielle, Megan and Jack Kloptosky and Roman and Rhys Snyder.Visitation will take place in Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. On Saturday, January 10, 2015, family and friends may gather directly to Our Lady of Mount Virgin Parish for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial.Sara will be laid to rest in the family plot of Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
