Obituary of Despina Kolidakis

Despina Kolidakis, 88, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mrs. Kolidakis was Born and raised in Sitia, Crete, Greece, Despina touched many hearts with her love and compassion. Her true joy in life was spending time with family and friends entertaining them at her home. She is survived by he husband Mihail; daughter, Maria Bottone and her husband Clemente of South Plainfield; son, Athanasios and his wife Marie of Middletown; sister, Gerogia Katrizidakis and brother Emmanouil Galetakis both of Greece and grandchildren; Roseanna Kaldes and her husband Gregory and Joseph Bottone and his wife Nanci. Also surviving are her great grandchildren; Despina, Zoe, Clemente and Daniella. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 beginning at 10:30AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Rd. Piscataway, NJ 08854. The funeral mass will follow beginning at 11:30AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, South Plainfield.
