Steve Weachock, 86, passed away September 14, 2014 at the Arista Care at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield, NJ. Born and raised in Buck Run, Pennsylvania, he resided in Edison before settling in Piscataway 45 years ago. Mr. Weachock proudly served an enlistment in the United States Army. He was a former custodian for the Piscataway Board of Education. Steve enjoyed camping and traveling.Mr. Weachock was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Weachock and by his seven siblings. Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Mrs. Patricia Weachock; his daughters, Laura Klemens of Bellmawr and Sharon Figel and her husband Joseph of Hamilton and his grandchildren, William Klemens, Branden Klemens and Sarah Figel.Visitation hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by a 7:30 pm prayer service. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home Thursday 11:00 am for a final goodbye prior to burial at the Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve's name to the National Parkinson's Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
