Dear Sherri and family, I am so sorry for your loss and your pain at this time. I pray the beautiful memories of her life bring comfort. Certainly the light of Merkies life will shine on for many years to come. She was as faithful a person as I have ever met, not only to the God she loved and served, but to her friends and family, the tasks she felt called to, and to the world all around her. My life was made better by knowing her as I did, and for that I'm grateful. May she rest in peace.
