East Brunswick - Joan E. Pearl, 80, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at home.
Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, Joan settled to East Brunswick in 1968.
A stay at home mom, Joan loved to cook. She won cooking challenges in her younger years and enjoyed making Crepes for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and fishing.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles and son, Rod Schell, surviving are her three children, Charlie and David Pearl of East Brunswick and Elizabeth Schaffhauser and husband Robert of North Brunswick and three grandchildren, Shaun Schaffhauser, MaryJo Schell and Victoria Schuster.
Graveside services will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick at 10AM.
Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday from 4-7PM in McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals (www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com), 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.
