South Plainfield, NJ - Carol Ann (Square) Wilson, 70, passed away at Haven Hospice located within JFK Medical Center in Edison in the early hours of Saturday, January 6, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Born in Plainfield to the late Eugene and Harriet (Lavigne) Square, Carol has been a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. For over thirty years, Carol worked at Allstate in Bridgewater where she was a clerical worker. She enjoyed spending time at the casinos and was an avid lottery player. She liked trips to the beach and shopping at Macy's, but her favorite time spent was with her grandson Freddie. Carol leaves behind her loving family; husband George Wilson, daughter Donna Eyer and her husband Fred of Edison, son William "Bill" Grant of Pompano Beach, FL, grandson Freddie Eyer, siblings; Jean Ksensakovic and husband Andy, Harry Square and wife Ann, Nancy DiDonato, John Square and wife Micheline and Mary Dietzold and husband Jeff and by a special great niece and great nephew; Gianna and Deonte. Visitation will take place in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4-8pm with concluding prayers at 7:30pm. At the request of the Wilson family, cremation services will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
