Obituary of Florence P Bosse

Florence P. (Sida) Bosse, 91, died peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 at her home in South Plainfield with her family at her side. Born in Newark, Florence grew up in Florida resided in Newark and settled to South Plainfield in 1951. She assisted the war efforts during WWII by working in a Newark, NJ manufacturing plants for military equipment. She also had worked at the former Middlesex Dress Co, in South Plainfield prior to staying home to raise her family. Florence was a Faithful women who enjoyed reading the bible. Predeceased by her husband Oscar, who died in 1994, her seven siblings and their spouses. Surviving are a daughter, Rhoda Gottfried and her husband George; sons, Floyd and his wife Roberta and Paul and his wife Catherine all of South Plainfield; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May, 24, 2016 from 6-9pm in the McCriskin- Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080 Funeral services and burial in will be held privately on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to Kindred at Home Hospice, 242 Old New Brunswick Road, Suite 140, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
