South Plainfield - Joseph Ogonowski, 63, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at home.
Born in Germany to the late Marian and Bernice Ogonowski, Joseph immigrated to the United States in 1956 and settled to South Plainfield.
In high school Joe participated in the football and baseball programs. He worked for National Can Co, Halls Warehouse and most recently, Silgan Containers as a forklift operator.
Predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Frank and Marian Ogonowski; surviving are his brother, Casimir Ogonowski of South Plainfield, sister in law, nephews and niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 2-4PM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield NJ 07080.
Cremation will be held privately.
