Fred A. Haas, 93, passed away February 26, 2014 at home. Born in Germany, he settled in Piscataway in the early 70's. Mr. Haas proudly served an enlistment in the United States Army. He was a retired Jeweler.Fred was predeceased by his wife Maria who passed away in 2007 and by his step daughter Antonina Spagnola and his sister Louise. Surviving are his step children Jimmy Paraula and Gracie Bollaro; his sisters Elsa and Bertha; his grandchildren, Denise, Anthony, Jimmy, Maria, Rochelle, Augie Jr., Rocky Jr. and Darlene; his great-grandchildren, Nicole, Dina, Maria, Justin, Daniel, Alyssa, Gianna, Adrianna, Nicholas, Christian, Laney and Branson.Visitation hours will be Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854 followed by an 11:00 am prayer service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fred's name to St. Jude's Children's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
