Obituary of Joan Jaghab

Joan Jaghab, 65, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Plainfield Joan was raised in North Plainfield and resided in South Plainfield for nearly 40 years. Along with her family, Joan was the owner and operator Flooring Bazaar in South Plainfield. An avid cook, Joan took pride in caring for her family. She will be remembered as a woman who had a great sense of humor that loved to laugh and will be dearly missed by the ladies at their monthly bunco game. Predeceased by her parents, Rose and Victor Skowronski, surviving is her beloved husband George, loving sons; Daniel and his wife Samantha of Montgomery, Peter and his wife Andrea of Hillsborough, Michael and his wife Geraldine of South Plainfield and Joseph and his wife Nicole of Montclair and brother; Michael Skowronski and his wife Holly of Edison. Also surviving are several loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 5-9pm in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home for Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10AM at St. Mary's RC Church, PlaInfield. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.
