South Plainfield – Mark Donavan Mallory, 62, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Mark was a lifelong New Jersey resident. He was raised in Plainfield, NJ by his parents, William and Alice Mallory. He settled in South Plainfield 33 years ago and was employed for 38 years at AT&T.

A passionate BMW enthusiast, Mark was a dedicated member for over 35 years in the NJ Chapter of the BMW Car Club. He served the chapter for many years in multiple capacities including Treasurer, Registrar and Instructor. His passion for cars and racing on the track stems from a deep love and thrill for speed, engineering, and the shared camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. His hobbies included collecting clocks and lighthouses, assembling Legos, tinkering with remote-controlled airplanes and cars, and an avid photographer.  Mark had a true passion and love for all animals, especially dogs.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Jacqueline (Brown) Mallory; daughter, Kristin Kulas and husband, Ivan; parents, Alice (Mallory) Hoskins and William Mallory and sister, Dawn Mallory, and aunt, Jonette Boyd.

He will also be missed by his two granddaughters, Nikki and Ella along with many cousins, family members, and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 2-5PM in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080.
