Please share a memory of Angelina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Angelina Spalluto, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12th, 2025.

Born to the late Angelo and Rose Bottone, Angelina was raised in Plainfield NJ, where she met and married the love of her life, Frank P. Spalluto. The two were married at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish in Plainfield, where their union became a lasting testament to love and devotion. They recently received special recognition as the longest-married couple in the parish’s history — a remarkable 65 years filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

Angelina dedicated over 30 years to Rutgers University in Piscataway, where she served as Assistant to the Treasurer, a role she cherished. Angelina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her greatest joy came from her family. She found fulfillment in the simple, beautiful moments spent with her loved ones — whether it was traveling the world with Frank or enjoying family gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and siblings.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank P. Spalluto, and her brother, Clemet Bottone, Angelina leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and selflessness. She is survived by her loving sons, Frank and Michael Spalluto, and their wives, Catherine and Nancy; her cherished grandchildren, Frank, Christian, Nicholas, Matthew, and Lauren; and her dear brother, Michael Bottone.

Angelina’s gentle spirit, her unwavering devotion to family, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and valued will be forever remembered. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at McCriskin – Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 2-4 PM and from 7-9 PM.
