A Memory of Joe I wanted to share a story about Joe that’s always stayed with me, and I believe it truly reflects his character. Joe loved baseball, and he was an avid Yankees fan. Years ago, when my children were young and Joe was our IT department manager, my son had a baseball game scheduled for the late afternoon. I asked Joe if I could leave around 4 pm to make it in time to watch my son's game at his elementary school, knowing I had over an hour's commute. Without hesitation, Joe said yes—even though we had an important meeting scheduled that afternoon. Back then, we all carried pagers (no cell phones yet), and the meeting must have been intense because I lost track of time. Suddenly, my pager beeped, and it was a message from Joe: “Don’t you have to leave for your son’s baseball game?” I was caught off guard, immediately got up to apologize, and rushed out. To me, that moment was a perfect example of not only being a great manager, but also being a genuinely good person. I've shared this story with many people over the years as a reminder of what true leadership and kindness look like. Moshe Rotstein
