

Obituary of Albert J. Contursi
Middlesex – Albert J. Contursi, 56, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.
A lifelong resident of Middlesex Borough, Albert graduated from Middlesex High School in 1986 and went on to dedicate 30 years of service to CHUBB, where he built a respected career and lasting friendships.
Albert, a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin, he shared his love of music and singing by playing guitar during the Saturday night children's Mass. He was always willing to lend his talents to the church and community throughout the years.
Having a deep appreciation for the art, Albert was active in community theater and acted in several independent films He also enjoyed attending film festivals as well as concerts and often took part in meet-and-greets with the bands he loved, KISS and the Counting Crows.
Predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Minnie Ann Contursi; surviving are his sister, Angela Farmer and her husband Larry; his nephew, Rylan Farmer and girlfriend, Cristina Reino.
Visitation will be held in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ, on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Virgin RC Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Family may gather at the funeral home prior to mass, beginning at 9:30 AM.
Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.jude.org/donate.
