

Obituary of Norman F. Williams
Middlesex – Norman Williams, 78, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born and raised in Nutley, Norman has been a long-time resident of Middlesex Borough.
A proud Marine, Norman retired from the United States Marines with Purple Heart in 1971 fighting for our Country during the Vietnam War.
After retiring from Hoechst pharmaceuticals, Norman enjoyed his time with his family. He loved all of his pets through the years and had enjoyed many happy days with his special boy, his dog, Duncan. He also enjoyed travel, boating, self – educating and investing.
Predeceased by his father, Francis, mother, Evelyn and two siblings, Frank Williams and Esther Leeder and brother in law, Bob Leeder; surviving are his daughter, Danielle Zanowic; two grandsons, William and Daniel Zanowic and three great grandchildren, Seth, Grace and Aurora.
He will also be missed by his brother, Edward Williams and wife Cynthia; goddaughters, Jennifer and Cassandra along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather at Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex NJ 08846 on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 1PM – 4PM, funeral services will begin at 3:45PM.
Norman will be laid to rest privately in Brigadier General William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
