Obituary of Danilo S Andaya
Danilo S. Andaya, 73, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at home in South Plainfield.
Born and raised in Obando, Bulacan, Philippines, Danny came to the United States in 1980 residing in Queens, NY until 1985 when he settled in South Plainfield, NJ.
He worked as an accountant for over 30 years for the New York City Department of Labor Relations retiring in 2014.
A member of the South Plainfield Senior Center, Danny was also a communicant of Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church in South Plainfield. In addition, he enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to music, singing and dancing.
Surviving are his wife, Zoilita of South Plainfield; son, Brian and his wife Mandy of Easton, PA.; brother, Ernesto & family; sister, Ligaya & family and all their children & grandchildren from the Philippines; brother in law in Toronto and sisters in law in Michigan, California and Jersey City and their children.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 6-8pm and on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 9:30am – 10:30am in the South Plainfield Funeral Home 2456 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11am at Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield, NJ.
Immediately following mass, Danny will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
