Timothy E. O’Leary

Age: 66 * South Plainfield

 South Plainfield, NJ – Timothy E. O’Leary, 66, passed away on June 15, 2023 after a long illness at Newark Beth Israel Hospital.  Born in Red Bank to the late Timothy F. and Anne (Burdyl) O’Leary, Tim has lived in Port Monmouth, South Amboy, Sayreville and Colonia before moving to South Plainfield in 1987. 

 He worked as a truck driver for Penske in South Plainfield and also had a love for photography.  He could often be found bird watching, gardening or simply being outside enjoying nature. He also was an avid book reader, model train collector and liked to fish. When it came to sports, he loved them all! 

 Tim leaves behind his loving wife Deborah (Bohnhorst) O’Leary, son Timothy J. and his girlfriend Danielle Deneroff and by his siblings; Dennis and his wife Kathy, Terry and his wife Cathy, Bob and his wife Jeanne and sister Eileen Brylinski and her husband Frank.  Tim will be missed by his extended family; mother-in-law Rose Bohnhorst, sister-in-law Darlene Coester, brother-in-law Frank Bohnhorst as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 Visitation will be held at South Plainfield Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 5pm until 8pm with prayers from Father John Paul Alvarado at 7:30pm

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in the funeral home at 1030am followed by burial at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
