Obituary of Carlos A. Arias Chaves

Piscataway - Carlos A. Arias Cheves, 81, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 14, 2023 at home.

Born in Columbia, Carlos is a long time resident of Piscataway Township.  A kind man, Carlos would give Columbian candied to the communicants of St. Mary’s RC Church when he attended mass.  He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria and two children, Marsha Arias and James Arias; grandchildren, Nicole, Jimito, Carly, Joshua, Adriana, Martiza and Diamante, along with extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 9AM in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue South Plainfield followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in St. Mary's RC Church, Plainfield.

Family and friends may gather in the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9PM.
