Q: What will you never forget about Paula?
A: Paula and I rode the bus together during high school. She lived one street over from me. When we got off the bus we’d stand in the road chatting for a while, but not too long because Paula had homework to do. She maintained being a straight-A student, going on to excel in
her chosen field of business administration.
We had some sleepovers at her house in the summers, dancing around in her room to early 60’s music, painting our nails, being silly and laughing a lot. Paula had a great sense of humor. She was a very good listener, and would give you her comment or advice unreservedly.
I remember having a wonderful 40th Piscataway high school reunion with Paula in 2006. I flew up to New Jersey from Virginia and stayed with Paula several days while she had her gallbladder operation. My husband Don and I would visit her every July when we flew to NJ for my Mother’s birthday.
Rest in Jesus’s Peace, Paula, I will surely see you again in Heaven one day!
