My name is Arthur J. Beirn Jr., son of Arthur & Irma Beirn and cousin to Skip and Steve. All my fond memories of Aunt Dotty revolve around just how sweet, kind and understanding she always was to me and everyone she met. I particularly enjoyed her sense of humor which often caught us by surprise and continued to produce a long lasting smile while chuckling to ourselves.
As Mark Twain once said: “Humor is the great thing, the saving thing after all. The minute it crops up, all our hardness’s yield, all our irritations, and resentments flit away, and a sunny spirit takes their place.”
I will always remember Aunt Dotty as being that sunny spirit for me and everyone around her.
She will be missed dearly, but her spirit will never wane.
